In 2023, the National Student Advertising Competition presented advertising students across the country with the task of creating a campaign that would raise the unaided consideration among Gen Z for the job search platform, Indeed. Our campaign, targets the frustrated job seeker, including college students, who are unemployed or underemployed. The goal of our campaign was to highlight the extensive list of tools that Indeed provides to the job seeker and as a brand, meet them in places they are already at. We pitched our campaign in NYC in April 2023, and won Best Insights and Best Innovations.
As an Art Director on the team, my role was to lead the design of the Plans Book, the research overview, and the campaign sneak peek, which would be shared with judges for review before the pitch presentation. I created the overall look and feel for the book, designed the pages, and oversaw the other designers helping with the book. I also helped to design the presentation deck, showcasing our campaign in its entirety. Along with the design contributions, I was a key member of the strategy and research team that gave this campaign the legs to stand on.
